McFly man to do solo

McFly's Danny Jones is set to release a solo project.

He told The Daily Star: 'I'm a huge dance music fan and I spend all my time making it.

'It was just a hobby at first but I'm putting together an album. I've invested loads of money building a studio at home.

'I don't want it to step in the way of McFly stuff so I'm planning on releasing it under a different name.'

He added: 'I've been working with Roger Sanchez, but the stuff I make is more progressive house like Eric Prydz or Afrojack.'
