Matt Cardle "Fame is wicked"

Masses of fans queued round-the-clock to watch an exclusive performance of the X-Factor winner's debut single at a store in West London.

People's favourite Matt Cardle sang "When We Collide" at HMV in Whiteleys' shopping centre, and signed autographs. He told the crowd his life had been "turned upside down and inside out", but that his new found fame was "wicked".

Some fans had queued for ELEVEN hours to see him.

Cardle, whose single is a cover of a track by Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro, is the bookies' favourite to be Christmas number one.
