The 'Commander' singer has been in the studio laying down new material with one of her acts from the ITV1 show.

Kelly Rowland has already started recording material with her former The X Factor contestant Amelia Lily.

The 16 year-old singer was eliminated from the ITV1 show during the live final on Saturday (10th December) but says she is already working with her mentor on some new music.

"Had a great day in the studio with miss Kelly Rowland!" Amelia tweeted yesterday (14th December). "Can't wait for you guys to hear."

The singer lost out in The X Factor final to girl band Little Mix, who went on to score more votes from the public then fellow finalist Marcus Collins during Sunday's live show at Wembley Arena.

Kelly performed 'River Deep, Mountain High' with her act Amelia during the duets section of Saturday's The X Factor.

The 'Down For Whatever' singer has also previously said she hopes to work with ousted contestant Sophie Habibis in the future.
