The 'Suit & Tie' singer reveals his thoughts on his latest music and working with producer Timbaland.
Justin Timberlake has called new album 'The 20/20 Experience' his "best ever".
The 'SexyBack' star has once again teamed up with producer Timbaland and praised his long-time collaborator during a new interview with Rolling Stone magazine.
"My relationship with Tim is a relationship that I have with nobody else in the world," he said.
"And I have that relationship with Pharrell [Williams] a little bit as well," he added. "But my relationship with Tim is very unique; we share the same perspective that we always want to make something that reminds us of music that we love, but at the same time is something we've never heard before."
The 'What Goes Around' singer revealed keeping details of his new record secret have created something greater than he could have expected.
" I was just like, 'Let's make some music without all the hoopla of, like expectations. Let's just make something that feels genuine from us'," he stated. "And I'm glad we were able to do that way because, for me, it's the best stuff I've ever done."
Shortly after his appearance at the Grammys 2013 the Memphis born star debuted new eight-minute long track 'Mirrors' from the record.
The US star also revealed that the average length of each song on his new album will be similar.
"There are 10 songs on this one, but the average length of each song is seven, eight minutes," he added. "We made it to listen from top to bottom. It's not so much a narrative or a story, but sonically we really made it to listen from top to bottom."
Meanwhile, the 'What Goes Around' singer is currently preparing to head over to the UK for a performance at the BRIT Awards 2013.
Justin Timberlake's new album 'The 20/20 Experience' will be released on 16th March.
