Paramore's Hayley Williams announces solo project and new music out in 2020

Hayley Williams will release new music in January 2020. Hayley thanks fans for their birhday wishes for her 31st and told fans they would be hearing a taste of the "special project" in the new year.
Paramore's Hayley Williams has announced that she will release new music in 2020. The singer celebrated her 31st birthday yesterday (27 December) and made a thrilling announcement about what she's working on in the new year. The musician took to Twitter and Instagram stories to announce that she will be releasing new music "with the help of some of [her] closest friends". Hayley Williams didn't reveal too much about her new music but fans can officially get excited for new tunes from the Paramore singer.

Hayley shared the announcement via notes app screenshot, thanking fans for their birthday wishes and previewing her upcoming project.
"Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes. 30 was a very important year. 31 will be too," she wrote.
"I'm putting out some music next year. With the help of some of my closest friends, I made something I'm going to call my own. It's a really special project and you'll get a taste of it in January. Happy New Year, friends."
In August 2019, Hayley told ET that she wasn't sure what was next for Paramore.
"I really don’t know what’s next for Paramore. The guys and I just had dinner the other night at my house. I think we’re just really enjoying being friends and adult human beings at home by ourselves without music."

It's not clear which friends Hayley has collaborated with for the project but the singer has been known to cross genres, teaming up with acts like Zedd, B.o.B, and CHVRCHES in recent years.
Hayley says fans can expect "a taste" of her new music in January 2020 which will undoubtedly be an iconic start to the new decade.
