Halsey just got a huge knee tattoo and it looks as painful as it sounds

Halsey has a brand new knee tattoo with "poor thing" written on it.

Halsey is no stranger to getting tattoos. Over the course of her career to date, the 24-year-old has racked up over 30 tattoos and she shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. Just this year she got a huge Marilyn Manson tattoo on her rib cage and before then she's also gotten inks referencing everything from her favourite songs ("i'm a loser baby" on her neck is a lyric from 'Loser' by Beck) to her own music (the Queen of Diamonds symbol by her left ear is a nod to her hit 'Castle').
Now she's upped the ante with a new tattoo on the notoriously painful tattoo location: the kneecap.
Taking to Instagram yesterday, Halsey wrote: "crispie freshie" alongside a photo of her new ink. The tattoo in question is two plasters crossed over each other with the phrase "poor thing" written on them. It's unclear but it seems likely that the tattoo is a reference to the fact that Halsey always injures her knees. Three months ago, Halsey properly bruised her knees after going nude rock climbing. Iconic.
Halsey's tattoo artist, Emily Malice, also shared a photo of the tattoo and Halsey getting it done on her Instagram page with the caption: "Ouchie! 💔 always a pleasure seeing you my babe 🌹Thankyou for getting tattooed by me".
After getting the tattoo done, Halsey tweeted: "got my entire kneecap tattooed so now I’m officially not afraid of anything".
