The internet is roasting Halsey's outfit at the iHeartRadio Music Awards

Despite giving us a formal SLAY, everyone on Twitter is making the same joke about Halsey's look.

Our Lord and Saviour Halsey rocked up to the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Thursday (March 14) looking every inch a superstar. Werking her new pink hair, a bowtie and a chic lady Tux-inspired outfit by Dsquared2, the 'Eastside' singer walked the red carpet like a boss.

Halsey took to the stage to perform 'Without Me' and her new single '11 Minutes' with boyfriend Yungblud and Travis Barker on the night and absolutely smashed it (despite her slight wardrobe malfunction). She also picked up the Fan Girl Award and gave a shout out to all the fangirls out there watching.

“If a young woman likes something, then in the eyes of the rest of the world that makes it stupid or unimportant or invalid,” she told the audience. “But as a former fangirl, and now a person who is lucky enough to have fans of their own, I know that it is very much the opposite, actually.”

But in true Halsey red carpet fashion, the internet could not pass up on the opportunity to tell the exact same joke 573 times about her look: the fact that she was dressed like a fancy waitress.

To be honest, she absolutely bodied the look and served nothing but confidence, poise and high levels of chic. It was a formal slay! A silver service moment! Rami Malek, the waiter from the Golden Globes, is shaking! Waitress Halsey™ was a VISION!
