The 'Call The Shots' singer says the chemistry between Simon and Cheryl was a "great time" for the show.
Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh says she thinks The X Factor UK "misses" former judge Cheryl Cole and the on-screen chemistry she had with Simon Cowell.
'Call My Name' singer Cheryl left the show two series ago after spending three years as a panelist on the ITV series, and her bandmate Kimberley says the banter between Cheryl and former judge Simon was always "amusing" to watch.
"I think it misses Cheryl," Kimberley admitted to The Sun this weekend. "She was brilliant on it and I think she's missed.
"She and Simon were very amusing to watch," the Girls Aloud singer explained. "It was a good chemistry and I think that is missed.
The whole line-up of judges has changed over the years and the time Cheryl was involved was a great time for the show," Kimberley added. "There were some great winners and it was all about the talent."
Despite leaving The X Factor UK as a permanent judge after the 2010 series of the show, Cheryl did make a return appearance for this year's series when she joined Gary Barlow to help him pick his final acts for the live shows.
'Something New' five-piece Girls Aloud performed in front of the Queen at the start of the week when they sang at the annual Royal Variety Performance at London's Royal Albert Hall.
Girls Aloud release new greatest hits collection 'Ten - The Hits' on Monday (26th November) while they will play Capital's Jingle Bell Ball 2012 on 9th December.
