The pair were apparently involved in an incident while on holiday in Austria.
Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding and her former boyfriend are to both face charges after they allegedly had a fight in an Austrian hotel.
An altercation is reported to have taken place between the couple at Hotel Schloss Matzen near Innsbruck in the early hours of New Year's Day.
According to The Sun, Sarah made a complaint to police after she was hurt in the fight with Theo De Vries, with whom she was first spotted with in public at the end of last year.
Theo, 35, was later questioned by police, who filed a case against the 'Sound Of The Underground' star after he claimed she had bitten him on the leg and thrown an ashtray at his head.
A police spokesman said: "During the course of the questioning of the man it became clear that he had also been injured.
"A report on both cases has been filed with the prosecutor and the police case is now closed."
Sarah has since returned to the UK and was pictured outside her Buckinghamshire home on Tuesday (3rd January).
Meanwhile, fans' hopes for a Girls Aloud's reunion in 2012 have grown after Cheryl Cole revealed that she had been watching the group's old videos.
