The 'Call The Shots' five-piece are back with a brand new single which received its first play today.
Girls Aloud officially unveiled their first single in three years today (16th October) as new song 'Something New' received its first play on Capital FM.
The 'Sound Of The Underground' girl band announced their reunion last week alongside a ten-day countdown this comes to an end this Friday (19th October), and 'Something New' was played on Capital FM for the first time at midday today.
At the start of this week Girls Aloud posted a short teaser clip that seems to be of their brand new music video for 'Something New', which sees all five members wearing identical orange minidresses and strutting away from the camera.

Cheryl Cole's autobiography My Story suggests Girls Aloud will be announcing a greatest hits collection and new tour as part of their big announcement at the end of this week, although the band have yet to confirm any official plans.
Girls Aloud last released a single back in 2009 with their song 'Untouchable', before announcing a hiatus that year to begin work on their respective solo projects.
