The 'Clown' singer is rumoured to be the final artist to take to the stage during this year's BRITs show.
Emeli Sande is reportedly set to close tonight's (20th February) BRIT Awards 2013 ceremony before taking an expected break from the limelight for around six months.
The 'Next To Me' singer, who is up for a total of four gongs later today, has said she is keen to "lay low" after her performance at this year's BRITs ceremony to work on some new music.
"I'm happy to leave the limelight for a bit and lay low after," Emeli told The Sun this week. "I'm going to be in the studio working on my next album.
"I just want to make more music, as that's my favourite thing," she added.
While Emeli is widely reported to be set to close the show, rockers Muse are also expected to kick off the event with a performance of 'Supremacy' backed by a 75-piece orchestra.
The Scottish singer-songwriter is odds-on favourite to walk home with gongs for Mastercard British Album Of The Year for her debut 'Our Version Of Events' as well as British Female Solo Artist.

Emeli has also scored two nominations on the category for British Single with Capital FM, with both 'Next To Me' and her Labrinth team-up 'Beneath Your Beautiful' in the running.
Earlier this week the 'Clown' singer said criticism that she has become overexposed in the past year is "a bit unfair".
The BRIT Awards 2013 kicks off tonight at London's O2 Arena from 8pm.
