Christina Aguilera falls during Grammys

Christina Aguilera fell down during her Grammys performance.

Just a week after her much talked about performance of the national anthem at the Super Bowl, the singer tripped and nearly fell off the stage at the conclusion of the Grammys tribute to Aretha Franklin, reports MTV.

As the crowd leapt to a standing ovation, Christina slipped and nearly fell from the stage but caught her balance without smashing to the floor or causing any serious damage.

The singer was joined by Jennifer Hudson, Florence Welch, Martina McBride and Yolanda Adams for a medley of Aretha Franklin's hits. Christina did a version of 'Ain't No Way'.

But it was during the ensemble version of 'Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves' that Christina fell.
