Billie Eilish addressed the backlash Drake got for texting her in a new Vogue interview.

Billie Eilish has responded to the backlash Drake received after she revealed that he texts her.

Last year, Billie opened up to Vanity Fair about her relationship with Drake. In the 'Same Interview, The Third Year' video, she said: "Drake is like the nicest dude I've ever spoken to. I mean, I've only like texted him, but he's so nice... like, he does not need to be nice, you know what I mean? He's at a level in his life where he doesn't need to be nice but he is, you know?"

Shortly after the video was released, people began expressing their concern over Drake texting Billie. People were worried that Drake was 33-years-old and Billie was only 17-years-old at the time. Now, Billie has directly addressed the controversy.

Today (Feb 3), Vogue published a new cover story with Billie. In the interview, Billie speaks candidly about her friendship with Drake and she shuts down suggestions that there is anything wrong with him texting her. She says: “The internet is such a stupid-ass mess right now. Everybody’s so sensitive. A grown man can’t be a fan of an artist?"

Billie then adds: "There are so many people that the internet should be more worried about. Like, you’re really going to say that Drake is creepy because he’s a fan of mine, and then you’re going to go vote for Trump? What the fuck is that shit?”

In the cover story, Billie also opens up about "creepy" fan encounters. During the interview, a fan sends her fruit with a card that reads: “Sorry you’re bored at home.” The fruit arrived just hours after Billie captioned a photo: "missing you tour . . . being home is boring.”

In response, Billie says: “Ugh, that is so fucking creepy. “They’re being nice, but there’s a line they just don’t see. Sometimes they’re like, ‘I know this is wrong, but I just wanted to leave this letter.’ And I’m like, If you know it’s wrong, then why do it?”
