Billie Eilish asked her fans if she should collaborate on a song with BTS and their response was not what she expected.
Billie Eilish has defended BTS and called out her own fans after they dissed the popular K-pop band in a festival interview.
Billie Eilish and BTS are both running the music industry right now. Billie has spent the past four years taking over the charts and changing the sound of pop with hits like 'lovely', 'bury a friend' and 'bad guy'. Meanwhile, BTS are currently the biggest boyband in the entire world. V, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook and Suga regularly sell out shows and break records. Not to mention, they've collaborated with other huge artists including the likes of Halsey and Nicki Minaj in recent years.

Billie Eilish and BTS have yet to cross paths but now Billie has put her fans in their place for dissing BTS.
In a recent interview at the Austin City Limits Music Festival, Billie was asked who she should collaborate with after teaming up with her childhood idol, Justin Bieber, on a 'bad guy' remix. Immediately, someone in the audience suggested that Billie should get in the studio with BTS. Billie then asked the audience: "Should I?" and, for the most part, fans screamed back "YES." However, some people shouted: "NO."
Shocked by the negativity, Billie quickly shut it down. She replied: "STOP! Oh my god... that's so mean?!!! Imma listen to them. They're very nice. They've said some very nice things about me." A queen. BTS have actually praised Billie multiple times during interviews and regularly said that we would like to collab with her. Jungkook even went viral on Twitter and Triller dancing to 'bad guy'.

BTS fans were also quick to call out the Billie fans who said "no" to a potential BTS/Billie collab. One wrote: "just shows how xenophobic and disrespectful people are. It's almost 2020 get ur head out of ur ass music is an international language and if ur too afraid to admit that then u need to grow tf up."
BuzzFeed writer Eleanor Bate also tweeted: "i hope billie listens to bts and then makes separate collabs with each member just to spite the people in the audience who told her she shouldn’t".
The way locals booed when someone asked Billie to collab with bts - just shows how xenophobic and disrespectful people are. It's almost 2020 get ur head out of ur ass music is an international language and if ur too afraid to admit that then u need to grow tf up.

The people who said “no” to Billie Eilish’s question about collaborating with BTS are probably the same people who are super quiet when racism and xenophobia happens.
