Bhad Bhabie previously implied that Nicki Minaj doesn't write her own songs.
Bhad Bhabie has clarified her recent comments about Nicki Minaj and ghostwriters in rap and hip-hop music.
It's no secret that Bhad Bhabie often finds herself at the centre of controversy. Ever since she first rose to fame as the "Cash Me Outside" girl on Dr. Phil in 2016, she's divided public opinion. In 2017, she become the youngest female rapper to chart on the Hot 100 and she's gone on to collaborate with artists including Megan Thee Stallion and Lil Yachty. However, she's also faced multiple accusations of cultural appropriation and started an extensive feud with Iggy Azalea.

Now Bhad Bhabie has upset people by implying that Nicki Minaj doesn't write her own songs.
In a new Instagram Live, Bhad Bhabie said: "Y'all just don't understand how this industry works. It's so sad. It's so upsetting because people put a lot of work into getting things done and then y'all hear, 'Oh, she didn't write that hook? Oh, well fuck her.' What? Y'all know most of the biggest... Drake, Nicki. All them people get shit written for them, too. Wayne. Like, all types of people get shit written. Whether they actually gonna use it or not, shit still gets written."
Barbz (Nicki Minaj fans) then interpreted these comments as Bhad Bhabie suggesting that Nicki doesn't write her own raps. Seeing as Nicki is known for her intricate wordplay and lyrical skill, and always discusses the importance of female rappers writing their own material, they were offended by what Bhad Bhabie said. #BhadBhabieIsOverParty began trending on Twitter.

Now Bhad Bhabie has addressed the backlash in a second Instagram Live: "I forgot that Nicki's fandom, majority of them are brainwashed and braindead and just so in love with her that they believe anything she says." She continued: "Not once did I ever say that Nicki doesn't write all of her music or that Cardi doesn't write all of her music or that City Girls or Lil Wayne or any of them people that I brought up earlier..."
She ended her point saying: "What I said was hooks are given to them [and] verses are given to them sometimes." She also tweeted: "Got love for Cardi, Got love for Nicki, Got love for everybody except dumb hoes wit double standards who don’t do they research."
