Lizzo hints TikTok deleted her bikini videos because of fatphobia

Lizzo is known for her body confidence mantras both on and off the stage, and this time she's calling out social media platform, TikTok, who keep deleting videos of her in a bikini.
Queen of viral hits, Lizzo, is no stranger to dealing with online trolls, and in a bid to push her body confidence mantras even harder for her young fans, she's called out TikTok for removing her bikini videos from the platform.
The 'Good As Hell' singer, who already has 3.2m followers on the platform, made a video while having her hair done to to address the issue in possibly the most Lizzo way we know how.

Lip-syncing to a pre-recorded song by fellow TikTok user Erin McMillen, the 31-year-old can be seen mouthing along the words "I know, I know, I know, I know" as questions flash up on the screen about why her other videos were removed.
The captions read: "TikTok keeps taking down my videos with me in my bathing suits...but allows other girls with videos in bathing suits...I wonder why?...TikTok, we need to talk."
The 'I know' is a nod to the fact that Lizzo (real name Melissa Viviane Jefferson) has made no secret of being a plus-size body confidence advocate the music industry so desperately needed, and has since received over 13,000 comments on the post supporting her.
"They've been caught doing this to many people actually" one wrote, while another was shocked, saying: "Oh wow! Wouldn't think they'd pull videos from stars. Disappointing. I do hope they talk to you."
This isn't the first time Lizzo has had to address criticism, when Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui recently stepped in to defend against fatphobic comments her friend and fellow artist had received for wearing a bikini while on holiday in Brazil, just after she'd been smacked down by the media for her 'inappropriate thong outfit' at a basketball game.
It doesn't seem to have shaken her too much though, as she's posted two more fun videos to the platform being her usual not-giving-a-damn self. Your move, TikTok.
