The 'Candy Shop' rapper and friend of Eminem was taken to New York hospital by ambulance in the early hours.
50 Cent has been taken to hospital in America last night (25th June) after being injured in a car accident.
The 'Candy Shop' rapper's SUV was apparently struck from behind by a Mack truck in Long Island, New York.
According to his official website, ThisIs50.com, 50 Cent was taken to a nearby hospital in Queens where he is undergoing tests on his neck and back.
The website also shows pictures of the Eminem collaborator being wheeled to an ambulance on a stretcher. The rapper's drive is also in hospital, according to ThisIs50.
American hip-hop magazine XXL reports that 50 Cent has since been discharged and is said to be "fine".
50 Cent released his last album 'Before I Self Destruct' in 2009.
The star has recently been focusing on his acting career, but is also understood to be planning a return to music with a new album.
