RULES

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition/) apply to ‘Thomas Cook Drive Promotion’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from 19/01/15 to 23/01/15 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Capital Scotland.

Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

Details of the Competition:

To enter the Competition an Entrant must call 08452 777 106 (the “Telephone Line”). Telephone calls will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times will be given out on air.

Each one caller will be selected at random, to come to air to play. The presenter will then list items that are on that day’s Thomas Cook Travelator (‘Baggage carousel’), which can be random holiday related items. The contestant will then have to recall 10 items against the clock to win the holiday for that day’s prize.

If the contestant doesn’t recall at least 10 items within the allocated time limit, we’ll move onto the next caller, who will have their chance to recall at least 10 items from the same list, until we have a winner.

Eligibility:

Entrants must be aged 18 or over.

Winners and any accompanying persons must hold a valid passport with at least 6 months’ further duration and which contains no visa restrictions on your ability to travel to the relevant destination. Passport control and in-country authorities reserve the right to refuse entry. If you are refused passage and or entry/exit to or from the country being visited, any additional costs and losses incurred will be your sole responsibility.

Winners and any accompanying persons must obtain all visas, permissions and any other documentation required for entering and staying in the destination country. The Radio Station is not liable for any costs associated with obtaining any such visas, permissions of documentation. Should the winner not be able to obtain the relevant permissions and visas to travel, the Radio Station reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.

Winners and all accompanying persons are responsible for arranging their own comprehensive travel insurance policy prior to taking up the prize

The prize does not include the cost of travel insurance, spending money or any other items or expense not specifically stated within the prize description.

Thomas Cook will contact the winner to confirm their contact details once they have accepted their prize and the Thomas Cook prize team will book the holiday as requested by the winner. The holiday must be booked no later than 31 January 2015.

The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part. In the event for any reason the prize winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize.

The winner accepts that the holiday booked will be provided subject to the applicable Tour Operators Booking Conditions.

The winner shall, at Thomas Cook Retail Ltd’s request, participate in all reasonable promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, for no further consideration, and they consent to Thomas Cook using their name and images in promotional material.

Thomas Cook Retail Ltd and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

These tickets are valid until 31st December 2015.

Tickets are subject to space availability and are non-reroutable, non-transferable, non-upgradeable, and non-refundable and have no cash value. Skywards Miles cannot be accrued when travelling on these tickets. Please note that both passengers must travel together on all flights. Passengers will be liable for airport taxes and surcharges.

Capital FM Scotland will provide the winner with a cheque for £200 to cover flight taxes. The cheque will be sent to winner’s postal address within 28 days of winning, and winner will be responsible to provide payment of taxes to Emirates.
