Capital Scotland: Beat The Beep Summer Special

RULES

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/ apply to ‘Beat the Beep 2016’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from 20/05/16 to 24/06/16 (the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Capital FM.

Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

Details of the Competition:

To enter the Competition an Entrant must listen to Capital FM Scotland weekday Breakfast show, from Monday 20th – Friday 24th June, from 6am – 10am

Each day in the Breakfast show an audio clip of song will be played, listeners will have to identify the track and call the studio with the correct answer to play.

Opening and closing times will be given out on air.

Listeners must call the studio when prompted to enter on 03452777106 and 1 caller will be selected at random to come to air.

The caller must correctly identify the song, and if they do they will get the chance to play ‘Beat the Beep’. If the caller gives an incorrect answer we will pick another caller at random, until we have a caller with the correct answer to play ‘Beat the Beep’.

All Entrants selected to play on air will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation may be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a return call from Communicorp UK, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, cannot continue the call for any reason or the phone line is not of a suitable quality for broadcast (at the discretion of the producer) the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.

All winning entrants will be required to talk to the presenter/s and a call will be recorded with the presenter/s and played on-air.

Increasing & decreasing cash amounts and spot prizes will be played out. The contestant will have to shout out “STOP” before the beep sound is played in order to keep the last cash amount or prize played out.

If the contestant fails to shout ‘STOP’ before the beep sound effect begins to play, they will lose the game & go away empty handed/ the cash amount and prizes up for grabs for the day will be lost.

The producer’s decision is final in all cases.

The prize amounts will be determined in advance by the Capital Scotland Breakfast producer.

Winner will be paid in the Sterling equivalent. Exact amount received will depend on the exchange rate at the time of booking.

All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.

Ibiza Break

Including;
• Return flights for two people from Scotland to Ibiza, Spain
• Return transfers from the airport to the hotel
• 2 Nights accommodation in a centrally located hotel
• Breakfast for two people each morning in the hotel restaurant
• Travel insurance

Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the organiser and excludes Christmas, New Year, Valentines, Easter, School Holidays and Bank Holidays (both uk and spain).

Departure airport used will be dependent on the direct availability from the winners nearest available international airport, which may not necessarily be the closest. Non uk passport holders may need a visa for this destination, which they should arrange with the embassy at their own expense. Includes all taxes and surcharges

Transfers will be private and not shared with other passengers.

Hotel will be classed as a minimum of 3 Star and will be based on two people sharing a twin or double room (winner’s choice) with ensuite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis.

Travel insurance is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. No age restrictions apply.

All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12months from the date of our initial correspondence with them

Cash alternative for Ibiza Holiday

A cash alternative of £1000 is available from Capital FM for this prize.

Winner must request within 7 days of winning.

Payment will be in the form of cheque, made payable to the winner.

Cheque will be sent to winner’s address within 28 days of confirming.

Rayban’s of winner’s choice will be up to the value of £125.00. Anything over this amount will be at the winner’s own cost. Style, colour and size are strictly subject to availability.

All prizes will be delivered within 28 working days from the date that NDL receives confirmation of the delivery address from the winner.

A cash alternative of £125 is available from Capital FM for this prize.
