Air France on Capital Birmingham & Capital Manchester

RULES

  1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition/ (the Competition Terms and Conditions” of Global as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to Celebrity Passports Air France radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from Monday 23rd January to Friday 27th January 2017 on Capital Birmingham & Capital Manchester (the “Radio Station”).
  2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. 

Details of the Competition:

  1. To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message with the station keyword to the station number given out on air by the on air team (the “Text Message Line”).
  2. Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. 
  3. The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air.
  4. From all correct entrants, one entrant will be selected at random and brought to air to play.
  5. All selected entrants will be contacted by telephone. All Entrants selected will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation will be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over or cannot continue the call for any reason the call may be terminated and another entrant selected at random.
  6. The entrant will need to answer a question, if correct they will be deemed the winner and awarded their prize. They will also be entered into a draw to win an additional prize on Friday 27th January.
  7. On Friday 27th January all 5 daily winners will be put into an extra draw. One will be randomly selected and deemed the overall winner. They will be awarded an additional prize.


Eligibility:

  1. Entrants must be 18 years or older
  2. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the competition.
  3. Winners and their guests must hold a valid UK passport.

Prize:

  1. Daily Prize - £500 per entrant (Monday – Friday)
  2. Friday Upgrade Winner: One pair of return economy Air France flights to a Air France destination with £500.

 

Prize Terms and Conditions:

  1. Prize includes one pair of Economy Class return tickets from Birmingham or Manchester to any destination in the Air France network. Flights are via Paris Charles de Gaulle. Prize includes flight taxes. Tickets are subject to availability. 

  2. Each return ticket must be used together (both passengers must travel together). One of the passengers must be the prize winner. An adult must accompany any children or infant. 

  3. Air France is not responsible for transfers to or from the airports, accommodation or any other travel expense. 

  4. Booking period and travel period finish on 15th December 2017. 

  5. Booking must be made at least 28 days before the preferred date of travel. 

  6. Travel not permitted from 10 and 23 April 2017. No extension of the date or change of destination is allowed from those specified in the terms and conditions. 

  7. No change of companion, names, travel dates or any other detail in the tickets is allowed once these have been issued. 

  8. Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be substituted for any other prize or cash value. 

  9. Income taxes (if any) paid on the value of this prize, or any other applicable surcharges, shall be the responsibility of the winner, parent or legal guardian. 

  10. Winning tickets are excluded from the Flying Blue programme. Winners who are members of this programme, including those who accompany them, may not accrue Miles for the prize flights. 

  11. Winner must be over the age of 18 with a valid passport to travel (valid for at least 6 months beyond the return date for the trip).
  12. Winner and accompanying persons must obtain all visas, permissions and other documentation required. Air France
is not liable for the costs of obtaining the correct entry documents. 

  13. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
