RULES
The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/ apply to ‘Horrible Bosses’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from 13th July 2011 to 22nd July 2011 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Capital FM London.
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
Details of the Competition:
To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to http://www.capitalfm.com and register their details.
Online entry will open at 00.01 on Wednesday 13th July and
close at 1600 on Thursday 14th July for selection of Monday 18th July winner
close at 1600 on Friday 15th July for selection of Tuesday 19th July winner
close at 1600 on Monday 18th July for selection of Wednesday 20th July winner
close at 1600 on Tuesday 19th July for selection of Thursday 21st July winner
and close at 0800 on Thursday 21st July for selection of Friday 22nd winner.
Entrants should submit their most entertaining stories about their horrible bosses. Capital FM will then decide which they find most entertaining. The chosen entrant will then be brought on air to tell their horrible boss story to listeners. The station will change all the details possible (names, locations and descriptions) that do not impact on the stories themselves. We’ll make best endeavours to make sure that the people involved are not identifiable.
Winners will be notified on air after the entrant has told their story.
By submitting your story to the site http://www.capitalfm.com to the Radio Station you: (i) warrant that you control all copyright and all other rights (including, without limitation, performers’ rights) in and to such story and (ii) confirm the grant by you to the Radio Station [and Global Radio] and Warner Brothers of a worldwide, perpetual, royalty free licence in the copyright and all other rights in and to the story (including, without limitation, performers’ rights) and you waive any moral rights and like rights you have in relation to the story; so that the Radio Station [and Global Radio] and Warner Brothers shall be entitled to use the story in any and all media at no cost to the Radio Station [and Global Radio] and Warner Brothers and such use shall not infringe the rights of any third party.
Eligibility:
At least one person must be 18 or over. If the winner is under 18 then the guest must be their parent or guardian.
All entrants, when telling their stories on air will be required to tell their stories as instructed by the station including any name and location changes etc that are deemed necessary.
Multiple Entries are permitted, you can enter as many times as you like.
Prize:
The daily prize is a 5 day Holiday in Cannes in 5* accommodation, including airport transfers, insurance and £500 spending money.
The prize is subject to the following terms:
Travel must be taken between the dates 1st October – 15th December 2011 or 15th January – 31st March 2012. Excluding National Holidays.
Accommodation is based on 2 people sharing 1 room.
Winners are responsible for passports and visas / permissions if applicable.
The hotel will require credit card imprint to cover incidentals.
The winner will need a bank account to receive the prize funds.
Any potential winner and their proposed guest will be required to sign a prize
acceptance and release form in order to be eligible to win and/or participate in the prize.
