‘Capital VIP’ Competition on Capital North East, Friday 22nd January 2016
1 The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at capitalfm.com (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Capital VIP’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run on Friday 22nd January 2016 on Capital Breakfast North East.
2 Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
Details of the Competition:
1 To enter the Competition an Entrant must listen to the presenter/ presenters and text in when prompted to do so.
2 Send a text message with the word “ENTER” to 83958 (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air.
3 All Entrants selected to play will be required to talk to the presenters and a call will be recorded with the presenter/s and possibly played on-air. If the caller doesn’t answer their phone, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, or cannot continue the call for any reason, the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.
4 The ‘Capital VIP’ competition will see Bodg, Matt and Scarlett play one round of ‘Capital VIP’ with the entrant. The entrant will be given a subject and must then give 3 correct answers from that subject in 15 seconds. The first thing must start with the letter ‘V’, the second must begin with an ‘I’ and the third and final answer must begin with a ‘P’. The producer’s decision is final.
5 The entrant cannot pass on any of the answers and if they get any answer wrong they will instantly lose and we’ll move onto the next contestant picked at random and we’ll restart the 15 seconds. We’ll continue from the letter the previous caller got incorrect until we get a correct answer for the 3rd and final letter P. Whoever gets that correct is the winner. We’ll continue to take callers to air until we get the final letter correct.
6 The winner will be the first entrant to correctly name 3 items from the chosen subject.
Eligibility:
1 Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
2 Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be removed.
Prize:
9. There will be 1 x Prize to be won
10. The Prize is a VIP night out for the winner and 5 of there friends (6 in total) in Newcastle on Friday 22nd January 2016. ID Must be taken by each member of the winning party.
11. The prize includes 6 x free entries to Floritas as well as a table including a bottle of bubbly between 8pm and 10pm on Friday 22nd January 2016
12. The prize also includes includes 6 free VIP entries to House of Smith as well as a reserved table including one free bottle of spirit and unlimited mixers from 10pm on Friday 22nd January 2016 to Saturday 23rd January 3am
13. The Prize is not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for an alternative prize, including cash.
14. All venues the right to exercise their door policies, for which Global Radio is not responsible.
15. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion
