At the start of season 3, following the character's horrific car accident, Noah Centineo replaced Jake T. Austin as Jesus on the Freeform show 'The Fosters'. Noah remained on the show from season 3 to season 5, its final season. Noah did extensive research on traumatic brain injuries in order to portray his character's life post-accident.
