Netflix set to host a virtual Pride event on June 30th

To celebrate the end of Pride month, Netflix are putting on a digital event "for reflection and celebration".
Hosted by The Most, Netflix Pride will celebrate all things LGBTQ+ and will comprise of "digitally programmed moments of reflection" inspiring change and action, as well as celebrating queer artists.
Headlining the event are Laverne Cox, Janet Mock, Hannah Gadsby, Queer Eye's Fab 5, Miss Major Griffin-Gracey, Chaka Khan, Tituss Burgess and Londynn B.

The rest of the lineup includes a handful of iconic Drag Race stars (Peppermint! Sasha Velour! Gigi Goode! Katya! Monét X Change! Trixie!), Dolly Parton, Ryan O'Connell, Normani, On My Block's Jessie Marie Garcia, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina's Lachlan Watson, Outer Banks' Madison Bailey and so many more.
In a tweet announcing the event, Netflix's The Most account wrote: "Chaka Khan, Laverne Cox, Peppermint — oh my! Proud to announce the Netflix Pride Special presented by @most! Benefiting OutRight, The Marsha P Johnson Institute, and the Trans Justice Funding Project. June 30, 4pm, on Netflix YouTube."
The event will help support a number of LGBTQ+ organisations including OutRight, The Trans Justice Funding Project and The Marsha P. Johnson Institute.

In a statement (via Bustle), Netflix wrote: "LGBTQ+ communities across the country are reflecting on the meaning of Pride this year. Against the backdrop of the Black Lives Matter movement, they are mobilizing in solidarity with the Black community to continue the fight for racial and social justice.
"Netflix is eager to recognize the unique challenges of these LGBTQ+ non-profits while also amplifying the resiliency and strength inherent in the community."
Netflix's Pride event will be live streamed on Netflix's YouTube channel, The Most's IGTV and on TikTok on Tuesday 30th June. The stream will start at 4PM PST and 7PM EST.
