"Imagine buying face wash from someone who doesn't even know how to wash their face properly."
Kylie Jenner recently added dermatologist to her long CV after deciding to start skincare line, Kylie Skin. The range launched on May 22 and includes a face wash, face scrub, toner, serum, moisturiser and eye cream.
Kylie Jenner is now the world's youngest "self-made" billionaire and everyone is raging about it
As soon as the line debuted, issues started to arise with the products, in particular the walnut face scrub.
Walnut face scrubs can cause micro tears in the skin because they're so harsh, and with Kylie recommending using the product "three times a week", or even everyday, people really started to drag her. Well, now that's over, it's Kylie's application methods that are being roasted.
Kylie showed her "morning and night" routine in a video posted on the Kylie Skin Twitter account. In the short clip, Kylie foams up the face wash and begins rubbing it into the centre of her face – clearly forgetting the edges. She then gave her face two feeble splashes of water, before drying it off with a towel, which ended up getting covered in foundation… awkward.
Not only that, Kylie had a Snapchat filter on the video the entire time. Sure, it matched with the pink theme her skincare products are branded in, but it doesn't exactly show what her natural skin looks like after using the products.
You washed your face for a total of 7 seconds, dried your face and FOUNDATION came off on the towel, and how are you doing a skincare routine video with a filter on? https://t.co/oNa0OlimY3
