RULES

1.    The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition/ apply to ‘Monarch Capital Breakfast Promotion’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from Monday 24th June to Friday 28th June 2013 (“the Duration”).  The "Radio Station" is Capital West Midlands.

2.    Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

Details of the Competition:

3.    To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message with the keyword given out on air to 83958 (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rates.  The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air.

4.    On Monday Morning we will invite people to text the keyword given out on air to 83958 to enter to win a holiday to one of the 6 destinations that Monarch fly from East Midlands to (Malaga, Alicante, Ibiza, Malta, Palma in Majorca and Faro).

5.    We will pick 2 contestants on Monday to come to air and take part in the competition.

6.    We will ask contestant 1 which of the 6 destinations they would like to play for.

7.    We will ask the contestants 5 questions .the contestant which answer the most will be declared the winner

8.    If by the contestants have the same amount of questions correct will ask a “closer to the pin” decider question for both contestants to answer and the contestant who answers the closest will win and stay on to play on Tuesday.

9.    The loser  of the contest round wins a pair of Ray-Bans.

10.    On Tuesday we will invite people to text the keyword to 83958 to play against the winner that stayed on from the day before to repeat the same game play as Monday.

11.    This will continue until Friday morning and the person who wins that days competition will win the holiday.

12.    If you are unavailable to play we will pick someone at random in your place. We normally try to get hold of someone twice.

13.    The winner will be announced on air on Friday during Breakfast and receive a confirmation letter within 28 days of the competition close date.

Eligibility:

14.    All entrants must be UK residents and 18 years or over and hold a valid UK Passport

15.    Multiple entries are permitted – you can enter as many times as you like.

Prize:

16.    The winner will receive 1 x week’s holiday for a family of four to Alicante, Ibiza, Majorca, Malta, Malaga or Faro, including four return scheduled flights from East Midlands Airport and 7 night’s accommodation at a 4-star rated hotel on a bed and breakfast basis for a family of four (two adults and two children, up to the age of 12) sharing a room.  One piece of hold baggage, up to 20kgs, is included per person.  Transfers are NOT included in the prize.

17.    The prize is valid for travel before 31st October 2013, subject to availability

18.    Flights and accommodation are subject to limited availability and may not be available on all dates during this period. There is very limited availability during peak periods such as Christmas, New Year, Easter, and school holidays or Bank Holidays.

19.    The prize includes four return scheduled flights with Alicante, Ibiza, Majorca, Malta, Malaga or Faro from East Midlands Airport, and 7 night’s accommodation at a 4-star rated hotel on a bed and breakfast basis for a family of four (two adults and two children, up to the age of 12) sharing a room.

20.    Airport taxes and one piece of hold baggage up to 20kgs per person are included in the prize

21.    Flight extras are not included in the prize (flight extras include, but are not limited to, pre-allocated seats and the carriage of sports equipment)

22.    Transfers to and from UK airports and in resort and hotel charges beyond the accommodation (such as meals and drinks other than those included in the bed and breakfast offering) are the responsibility of the winners

23.    Travel insurance is provided by Global

24.    The prize is non-transferable and is to be used by the registered prize winner

25.    The holiday may not be re-presented as a prize for any other prize draw or other similar event

26.    No cash alternative is available

27.    The winner will also receive £250 spending money in the form of a cheque from Global.
