The former judge is said to have signed on for the 2013 series after months of speculation.

Sharon Osbourne is reported to have finally agreed terms to return to The X Factor UK judging panel for a fee of £1.8 million.

The former panelist quit the show back in 2008 after three years as a judge but is now said to have signed up this week to be part of the show's 2013 revamp.

According to The Sun, Sharon's fee is one of the highest in the show's history and is said to include £300,000 worth of first class flights between the UK and Los Angeles so she can still see her family.

Sharon's involvement with The X Factor UK had been left in doubt in recent weeks after revelations about her marriage to Ozzy Osbourne.

"Sharon's been through hell lately, so X Factor was not front of mind," a source told The Sun this week. "But she loves the show and missed it."

2012 panelists Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh are both expected to return this year, although neither has confirmed their participation, while Tulisa Contostavlos is widely reported to be being axed in favour of Sharon.

Fan favourite judge Nicole Scherzinger has also yet to agree to a return, with rumours this week suggesting Spice Girl Mel B could be brought in as her replacement.

The X Factor UK is expected to make an announcement about Sharon Osbourne's signing "imminently".
