Whitney Houston Fans Pay Tribute To "True Legend"

Capital FM is inundated by messages of sadness from the 'I Will Always Love You' star's fans.

Fans of Whitney Houston have been paying tribute to the singer, who died suddenly on Saturday (11th February).

The 'I Will Always Love You' star passed away in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

Paramedics made attempts to revive the 48-year-old singer, but Whitney was pronounced dead at 15.55pm (PST).

Fans of Whitney have been contacting Capital FM to express their sadness about her death.

On Facebook, Clerise Tweed said: "R.I.P Whitney, you where loved dearly by millions of people, you will never be forgotten."

In another post Sophii Lewis wrote: "R.I.P Whitney, you were a true legend to the music industry and always will be. Not here but never forgotten xx."

Another poster, Stephanie Potter, described Whitney as a "legend", while Suzie said the singer was "too young" to die.

Whitney's sudden death comes just 24 hours before the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
