Tulisa Reveals The X Factor Fan Abuse
The N-Dubz singer says she was shocked by floods of hate mail she received after being confirmed as a judge.
"I was getting tons of abuse, I felt like 50 oer cent of the nation hated me," she told You magazine.
"If you're not an N-Dubz fan, you're not going to be a Tulisa fan, so I expected abuse. But I didn't know it was going to be at that level."
She went on: "It was intense: 'How dare you be replacing Cheryl or Dannii?' [They were saying], 'You’re a f*****g whore'."
The singer has since swung public opinion after striking up a close friendship with judging partner Kelly Rowland. The pair are planning to collaborate when the show ends.
