The 'Young' star says her book will be based on characters she's come across in real life.
Tulisa has revealed further plans to write her first novel and admitted it will "definitely" not be like the popular adult publication 50 Shades Of Grey.
The 'Live It Up' star recently released her autobiography and admitted she has been working with the same publishers on her next venture.
"I'm writing a novel. Let's say there are elements of the book based on real-life characters I know," she told the Daily Star.
The N-Dubz star continued: "Its definitely not 50 Shades Of Grey. It's exciting for me. It's something that I wanted to do with the same publishers as my autobiography.
The singer admitted she reads a lot in her spare time and loves crime novels.
During a webchat with Capital earlier this year, she also admitted that author Martina Cole is one of her biggest inspirations.
Meanwhile, the X Factor judge has also taken to Twitter to hit out at media reports over her solo career after it was reported she is keen to get back together with her N-Dubz bandmates sooner than expected.
