The X Factor judge hit the headlines this week when he called the 'Young' singer a "chav in a tracksuit".

Tulisa Contostavlos has said she is not bothered when Louis Walsh makes comments about her in the press.

The 'Live It Up' singer said her fellow The X Factor judge "loves winding me up" and that he warns her when he has said something controversial.

Earlier this week, the long-standing judge hit the headlines when he branded Tulisa "a chav in a tracksuit".

Speaking to Capital FM about the comments, Tulisa said: "Louis is having fun, he loves winding me up, but unfortunately the media don't know how to have fun, so something he says having fun gets turned into something that isn't. He's just winding me up."

When asked if Louis planned what he was going to say about her, Tulisa replied with an Irish accent: "Of course he does.

"He texts me afterwards and goes, 'You never guess what I just said about you'."

The new series of The X Factor begins tomorrow (18th August), with Tulisa lining up on the judging panel alongside Louis, Nicole Scherzinger and Gary Barlow.

The early stages of the auditions will feature a series of guest judges because Nicole had not been hired at that point.

Meanwhile, find out how you can take part in Capital's webchat with Tulisa, which is set to take place next week.
