Tulisa Contostavlos has said she is "very excited" about performing on Britain's Got Talent.

The N-Dubz star will perform her new solo single 'Young' on the programme when it reaches the live stage.

According to The Sun, Simon Cowell wanted The X Factor judge to appear on the show following recent attention on her private life.

"I'm very excited performing my single for the first time on Britain's Got Talent. It’s a huge show, with a massive amount of viewers, for my first live solo music performance.

“Of course, Simon will be on the panel watching, so I'm performing in front of the X Factor boss too!"

Tulisa unveiled the video 'Young' last month shortly after she completed filming in Los Angeles.

Her debut album has yet to be titled or given an official release date.
