The 'Spaceship' rapper says he won't be joining the reality show as he fears it will harm his credibility.
Tinchy Stryder has denied reports that he is to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The 'Off The Record' star was said to have signed a big money deal to join the Channel 5 show, but has now admitted that he fears his credibility would be harmed if he appears on the forthcoming series.
Speaking to The Sun, the rapper said: "I asked myself whether people I respect would go on a show and I decided that they wouldn't."
Tinchy admitted that his music will always come first and he respects himself for sticking to his morals.
"I respect myself for making this decision because they offered me a lot of money. Then, when I decided to go back and say no to the show, the money doubled.
"But music is my first thing and I love the people that support me and just know in my heart it wasn't the right thing to do," he added."
The rapper admitted that the money offered was a temptation was a big temptation as it could have funded potential new business ventures.
"At the same time I'm business-minded and I was going to go in there because the money could help to set up my business, like setting up my own record label," he confessed.
The new series of Celebrity Big Brother is set to air on the 5th January 2012 and Tinchy will release his new album 'Full Tank' sometime in the new year.
