The Wanted's 'Glad You Came' Cracks Top 40 On US Singles Chart

The 'Battleground' singers have made it into the top 40 songs in America with their first release stateside.

The Wanted have entered the Billboard Top 100 chart in America with their first US single 'Glad You Came'.

The 'Warzone' singers, who are currently touring across the states, are spending their third week on the chart and have just risen to number 40.

"On the road again. Just heard GLAD YOU CAME on the radio," The Wanted tweeted yesterday (1st February). "In AMERICA! Still can't believe it." 

After asking fans to keep on buying 'Glad You Came' the five-piece band also added a comment saying they are "just a couple lads trying to live a dream". 

The 'Lightning' singers made their US television premiere with 'Glad You Came' on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in January and are also due to make an appearance on E! chat show Chelsea Lately later this month.

The Wanted are due to continue their US tour tonight with a performance in salt Lake City, Utah before moving on to two final shows in San Diego and Los Angeles.
