The Wanted To Play Tower Festival Headland 2012

The 'Warzone' group will be joined by McFly at the event in June.

The Wanted are set to play this year's Tower Festival Headland in Blackpool this summer, it's been announced.

The group will co-headline the event, which take place on the Headland in the shadow of Blackpool Tower on 24th June, alongside McFly.

The gig will mark the first time McFly's Harry Judd has returned to Blackpool since winning Strictly Come Dancing.

Tickets for this year's Tower Festival Headland go on sale on Friday (27th June) at 9am.

Meanwhile, The Wanted are currently performing on their first US tour, which has seen them play a host of sold-out gigs, including in New York.
