The Wanted Tease Plans To Unveil New Single This Week

The 'Glad You Came' stars are currently working in the studio on their eagerly awaited new album.

The Wanted have teased that they could be set to unveil their brand new single this week.

The 'Gold Forever' stars were recently seen out filming the video for the new track which will be taken from their forthcoming third album.

Taking to his Twitter account in the early hours of this morning (4th September), singer Nathan Sykes told fans that Friday could be the day they manage to hear the new material

"So how would people back home feel if I said you could be hearing the new single as early as Friday?! #home #TWFanmily #nicely," he wrote.

The band have worked with the likes of Fazer, Dappy, LMFAO and Rita Ora on tracks which could feature on the album and follows on from 2011's 'Battleground'.

The group are also set to be in attendance at the MTV Video Music Awards 2012 where they will be hoping to take home the award for Best New Artist and will also be presenting on the night.

Rihanna, Taylor Swift and One Direction will be performing at the bash on Thursday (6th September).

Meanwhile, the band surprised David and Victoria Beckham's song Romeoon his tenth birthday recently when they appeared at his party during their stay in the US.
