The 'Lightning' band's growing army of fans include US President Barack Obama's two daughters.
The Wanted got the opportunity to meet the US first lady Michelle Obama over the weekend where they discovered her and President Obama's children are big fans of the band.
The 'Glad You Came' singers met Michelle during her visit to the UK last week to celebrate the opening of the London 2012 Olympic Games, which launched on Friday night (27th July) with a spectacular opening ceremony, and found out their daughters Malia, aged 14 and Sasha, aged 11, love The Wanted.
"Just met the first lady! So lovely!" The Wanted's Nathan Sykes tweeted over the weekend. "She congratulated us on our success and said the kids were fans! Had a wicked time this morning.
"Michelle Obama was lovely!" band member Tom Parker also posted, while Max George similarly wrote: "Michelle Obama was lovely!! And got to have a chat with David Beckham again… What a guy!!"
The 'Chasing The Sun' stars were speaking fresh from performing a hit laden set at London's Hyde Park for the Olympic Torch Relay Finale presented by Coca-Cola last Thursday (26th July).

Band member Jay McGuiness also had a busy week last week when he celebrated his 22nd birthday with a night out in central London with his bandmates and guests including Lawson and Paloma Faith.
The Wanted are currently working on their third studio album and Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun recently revealed he had heard several new tracks, describing them as "incredible" and predicting several big hits from the highly anticipated record.
