The 'Lightning' singer says he woke up and couldn't believe how far the band have come since their debut in summer 2010.

The Wanted's Max George says he feels "lucky" to be in The Wanted and has thanked the band's fans for their continuous support.

The 'Glad You Came' singers are currently on tour in the US, having most recently performed a sold-out show in New York on Sunday (22nd January), and Max has posted a message calling their fans "incredible".

"Can't believe what's happened to me in the last 3 years," Max tweeted earlier today (23rd January). "From nothing to touring America… Thanks so much… Doin it for you guys.

"Just waking up this morning I thought 'How lucky am I to have the support that I do off you guys," he later added. "You're incredible, seriously."

The Wanted are due to continue their US tour tonight with a scheduled performance in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
