The 'Glad You Came' stars reveal they have written over 30 tracks as they continue work on their next record.

The Wanted have revealed they've recorded some "really high hitters" for their new third album.

The 'Gold Forever' stars told MTV News that they wrote in excess of 30 new tracks as well as collaborations with the likes of Rita Ora and LMFAO.

"We had more than 30 songs and we picked about five or six that we were like 'yeah these are really high hitters,'' Siva Kaneswaran confessed. "We have to get the rest of the album finished."

Max added that the group have all contributed to the writing process and are also penning tracks for other artists.

"Some of the songs are for other artists and we don't always write for The Wanted," he said. "It's different when it's 30 songs that we've each written a share of individually, to put them together to make an album that actually makes sense because there were some that were to obscure, some that were too personal or whatever.

The singer also revealed that the group are working towards a March release for their next album and the follow up to 2011's 'Battleground'.

Siva added that the band were unsure if their team-up with Rita Ora would make their new record, but said it turned out great.

"I don't know what we are going to do with it," he said. "We worked in a day, and it turned out really well, and it's just sitting there waiting to be released among the public."

Nathan Sykes also spoke about the band's "wild" track with dance duo LMFAO.

"We did a couple tracks with LMFAO and they are just far too crazy," he said. "I'm sure someone will do it. It was a wild track."

The group recently revealed their new single 'I Found You', which is expected to feature on the new album as well as summer smash 'Chasing The Sun'.

Speaking about their new album, the band have also hinted at possible Chris Brown and Justin Bieber collaborations.
