The Wanted Say Lindsay Lohan Is "Misunderstood": "She's A Sweetheart!"

The 'I Found You' band open up about Lindsay joining them on the road last year.

The Wanted have described Hollywood superstar Lindsay Lohan as a "sweetheart" and a "top" girl, after getting to know her last year.

The UK five-piece, who returned with new single 'Walks Like Rihanna' over the weekend, and said the Mean Girls star is "misunderstood" by the media and the public.

"She's a friend of all of ours," Max admitted to Fabulous magazine this month. "She came on the tour bus with us and we spent a bit of time together for a couple of months.

"We kind of saw each other for, I dunno, a few weeks and that was it," he explained, while Tom Parker added. "Do you know what? She's a sweetheart.

"When you meet her you just want to hug her, cos she's so top," Jay continued, as Tom said: "She's misunderstood."

"Apparently she's going really well in rehab," Max added. "She's tested a couple of times to see ow the boys are, and she wants to come and see us when we next do a US show, which will be cool."

The band reached number two on the Vodafone Big Top 40 yesterday (23rd June) with 'Walks Like Rihanna' less than 24 hours after the song's release.

The Wanted's new reality series The Wanted Life launches in the UK tonight (24th June) on E!.
