The Wanted Announce 'Gold Forever' US Release To Mark One Year Anniversary

The 'Glad You Came' singers announced the release as a surprise to thank fans for their support.

The Wanted have announced they will release 'Gold Forever' in the US next week as a special surprise for their fans stateside.

The 'Lightning' singers revealed the plans after celebrating the one year anniversary of the track's release in the UK.

"U guys have shown so much love on #1YearGoldForever that we're bringing it back!" The Wanted tweeted this evening (13th March). "We'll release a US version on 3/20 as part if Complete My Album on @iTunesMusic!

"Each week we'll release a song before the release on 4/24!" the five-piece band continued. "#GOLDFOREVER is coming to the USA!!!!" 

The 'Warzone' singers are currently enjoying a high chart position in the US as their first American release 'Glad You Came' is at four on the US Billboard Top 100 as well as number two on the iTunes US Chart.

Max George, Nathan Sykes, Tom Parker, Siva Kaneswaran and Jay McGuiness are due to return to the US next week ready for an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. 

The Wanted will launch their first US album on 24th April.
