Singer Jay tells Capital FM that the band are trying their best to star in show which will feature their single 'Glad You Came'.
The Wanted have confessed that they are "trying their best" to grab a guest appearance in the upcoming episode of Glee which is set to feature their hit song 'Glad You Came'.
The news of the track's involvement in the hit US show was announced yesterday (6th February), and singer Jay McGuiness told Capital FM how it all came about.
He said: "We've been working with Justin Bieber's management and they actually put it forward and sort of left Glee to research us and then they saw us on the Ellen DeGeneres show and said 'that was pretty good'.
"Then they looked at a lot of our online stuff and apparently their producers and everyone are just fans. I can't get my head around it – but I'm very grateful."
Asked if the band were set to make an appearance on the show, he replied: "Yeh, we're gonna try our very best," before adding: "We are desperate to be on there."
The Wanted are currently in the US on their first ever tour of the country and will appear on the Chelsea Lately talk show tomorrow (8th February).
