The UK band also stay quiet on whether Nathan Sykes has the all-clear from doctors to perform today.

The Wanted have promised to be "more rock" than Coldplay when opening the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2013 today (9th June), as well as continuing speculation about whether Nathan Sykes will be able to perform with them.

The 'Walks Like Rihanna' singer has been recovering from throat surgery for the past few months forcing the band to promote their new music without him, and Max, Siva, Tom and Jay still didn't comment on whether Nathan will be at Wembley Stadium today.

Jay McGuiness said the band are not worried about following Coldplay's opening set at the Summertime Ball in 2012, and promise a set filled with all of their best hits to date.

"We'll beat them though!" Jay told Capital FM, when asked about following Coldplay's performance. "We're notoriously more rock then Coldplay!"

When asked about what songs they are going to play, the band teased that recent single 'I Found You' is likely to show up, despite it usually featuring heavy vocals from absent member Nathan.

"'I Found You', although without Nathan it's a little bit on the ropey side," Max George explained, revealing that he has been covering the song's famous middle eight section in Nathan's absence. "I've been attempting it.

"He's not even commented on it, but he's probably disgusted about it!" the singer added.

The Capital FM Summertime Ball 2013 will boast performances from some of the biggest names in music including Robbie Williams, Taylor Swift and Jessie J.
