The 'Chasing The Sun' band are still hoping to hook-up in the studio with the 'Turn Up The Music' star.

The Wanted have said it would be a "great opportunity" to record a collaboration with Chris Brown.

Earlier this year, the 'Glad You Came' stars told Capitalfm.com that they had met the 'Turn Up The Music' singer in a recording studio recently and that he had expressed an interest in working with them.

Speaking to MTV News at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, The Wanted's Jay McGuiness admitted they were still hopeful the collaboration would come off.

"I know Chris Brown in is the dressing room next to us, so we can see him again," he said.

"We have not put a song forward or heard anything yet, but as soon as we do, obviously [we'll] shout it from the rooftops, because it would be a great opportunity."

The Wanted performed a mash-up of 'Glad You Came' and current single 'Chasing The Sun' at the ceremony in Las Vegas on Sunday (20th May).
