Demi Lovato officially goes public with boyfriend Max Ehrich

Still Have Me is the first song Demi Lovato has released since ending her engagement to Max Ehrich this month.

Demi Lovato is back with a new single and fans are praising her 'Still Have Me' lyrics for being so powerful, raw and honest.

Last week (Sep 24), People reported that Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich had split after getting engaged in July this year. While the publication didn't explain why the couple had decided to end things, the news came soon after fans had discovered that Max had posted many videos and tweets thirsting over Selena Gomez in the past. He even referred to Selena as his "wife".

Demi still hasn't publicly commented on the split but today (Sep 30) she surprised fans with a ballad called 'Still Have Me'.

Yesterday (Sep 30), Demi tweeted: "Music is always there for me... song in the am" and just 10 hours later she posted a link to her new song 'Still Have Me' with the caption: "Music is always there for me..." While it's currently unclear exactly when Demi wrote 'Still Have Me', the lyrics could apply to a breakup or Demi recovering following her overdose in 2018.

The song itself is an intimate ballad in which Demi opens up about feeling lost and broken and finding the strength to move on. She delivers one of the standout vocals of her career as she sings lines like: 'I'm a mess and I'm still broken / But I'm finding my way back / It feels like someone's stolen / All the light I've ever had'.

In the chorus, Demi sings: 'I don't have much but I still have me / And that's all I need'.

As it stands, Demi hasn't confirmed exactly what the song is about. We shall update you as soon as she does.
