Mel C reveals that she used to clash with Mel B during the 'Spice Up Your Life' group's heyday.

Mel C has admitted that The Spice Girls have "mental scars" following rows with each other during their heyday.

The 'Spice Up Your Life' singer said the group sometimes had physical clashes, but that any confrontation was mainly verbal.

"It hardly ever got physical actually. Me and Melanie B used to get a bit pushy-shovey but we're talking years ago," she told Heat.

"We've had some humdinger rows and some raised voices, but I don't think anythings ever been thrown - no injuries inflicted on each other - only mental scars!"

But despite their rows in the 1990s, Mel C said the girls' had now left the bitterness in the past.

The Spice Girls were among the performers at the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony in August:

"No matter what's happened in the past, we love and accept each other. I always laugh most when I'm around them," she added.

The Spice Girls reunited earlier this summer to perform at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
