DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK...
Get out your pink neon lights at the ready because it looks like The 1975 are about to return with new music sooner than you think.
Eager fans have spotted that the band have changed the icons on all their social media profiles to white and they've deleted all their posts back to July 14th 2017, which just so happens to be the date of their final show at Latitude Festival, bringing to an end the I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It era.
As many have noted, this is significant because the last time the boys were preparing to release an album, they deleted all of social feeds. At the time fans theorised that they might have split up but it turned out to be an elaborate trolling-come-reinvention technique to usher in their new neon aesthetic and '80s laden musical direction.
Now fans believe they are pulling the same trick again and we're pretty sure they're right.

The band's manager, Jamie Osbourne, has already confirmed that the band will be releasing a new album this year, as well as a live tour.
Matty Healy has previously said that the album will be called Music For Cars and randomly tweeted out the date '1st June', leading many to speculate that the album with drop on that date.
So, two singles in April and May on the album in June, yeah lads? That works well for us tbh.
