Shakira splits from boyfriend

Singer Shakira has split from her boyfriend of 11 years.

The ‘She Wolf’ singer broke the news to fans on her website stating she and Antonio de la Rúa decided to "take time apart" last August.

She added: "Antonio continues to oversee and conduct my business and career interests as he has always done. Our friendship and understanding of one another is unwavering and indestructable."
