Shakira Traumatised After Sea Lion Attack

The 'She Wolf' star was injured after incident took place on family holiday.

Shakira has revealed that she was left traumatised after being attacked by a sea lion.

The 'She Wolf' singer was enjoying a holiday with her family when the incident happened.

Shakira said she was admiring the sea lions and seals in the water when she decided to try and pet one.

She said: "Suddenly, one of them jumped out of the water so fast and impetuously that it got about one foot away from me, looked me in the eye, roared in fury and tried to bite me."

Shakira said she was left shocked by the attack and thanked her brother for saving her from further danger.

"Everyone there screamed, including me," she said.

"I was paralyzed by fear and couldn't move, I just kept eye contact with it while my brother 'Super Tony' jumped over me and literally saved my life, taking me away from the beast."

Shakira also posted a picture on Facebook showing grazes on her hand, which she sustained trying to get away from the animal.
