Google Zeitgeist 2012: 'Gangnam Style' And Tulisa Among Biggest Searches

The X Factor's Lucy Spraggan, Gary Barlow and Girls Aloud were also popular searches this year.
PSY's worldwide phenomenon 'Gangnam Style' was among the most searched terms on Google, it's been revealed.
The 2012 Google Zeitgeist results saw Euro 2012 top the trending searches, while Olympic tickets and Whitney Houston, who died in February, were also popular search terms.
Take That's Gary Barlow was one of the top trending people, while The X Factor's Lucy Spraggan was the most searched music artist.
She beat the likes of Will.i.am, Tulisa, One Direction, PSY and Girls Aloud, who announced their reunion this year.
Understandably, PSY's 'Gangnam Style' was the most searched song of 2012, beating Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe' and Pink's 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)'.
